KnoppMyth creater joining Microsoft!
For those who don't know, knoppmyth and MCE (media centre edition) are Digital Video Recorders (DVR) which are PC based and allow you to turn your PC into a full blown media centre/tv recorder. Both systems are well developed, with advantages and disadvantages for using either system.
Recently Cecil from Knoppmyth posted on his website that he will be working in Microsofts Media Centre division, so the future my two favourite DVR are being joined as it were.
I can only say Microsofts Media Centre Edition will be rapidly improving after Cecil from Knoppmyth joins the dark side.

'I got a call from Jeff yesterday and he has sweetened the deal. Not only will Microsoft double my income, I can work on KnoppMyth 30% of my time. In addition, I'll have full access to their hardware labs to test KnoppMyth.'

Homebush Hill
This weekend we took a ride to Homebush all the way from Parramatta to Homebush and back. A nice ride which wasn't too hilly and great views around Homebush. Anyone who like cycling I highly recommend it.

Royal Easter Show
The last time we went to the easter show was back in 2001. Not much has changed, except the prices have gone up enormously. $4 for a 600ml Bottle of coke was just the start. Most rides were over $10 , one was $30 for a single ride! I was more scared of the prices than the rides! The show bags were the usual crap, I bought one showbag with a little garfield for $6 and that was enough. Still had a great time though. Might go in another 7 years or so.

Google visits Sydney!
For all you Google earth fans, check out the not so recently updated satelite pictures of sydney, you'll notice many new bus lanes. Notice the lane cove tunnel is still not completed, and epping road is still three lanes, but at least you can see the tunnel is there! At least it's better than a picture that was about 4 years old.

Mines Better!
A friend of ours told me last night that she liked my blog more than Cindy's. This has inspired me to enter another blog entry just for the sake of it.
It's Saturday morning and woke up before 8, is this a sign of old age? I think the stresses of work and living in Sydney are getting to me.

SOLD
The sold sign from my old childhood house. Well my parents have finally moved out of home and moved on. Only 12 years after me!
Bathroom Roof Renovations
We recently decided to renovate our poorly painted bathroom roof. What looked like a simple paint job, ended up taking 3 days of removing the previous paint and fixing up the poor job the previous owners did. For such a small area, it took the longest to paint.
Pearl Anniversry (30yrs)
Congratulations to my aunty liz and uncle laurie who celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last night. It turned out to be a great night and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Charlottes Web
Today my dad told me his passionfruit tree was blooming with flowers, so a good indication that it will bare fruit in the future. I wanted to see if mine was, but unfortunately not. Instead I was greeted with a massive spider web taking up half the backyard. Seems the spider left in a big hurry after a leaf took it's place in centre stage.

New Wireless Technology, Wireless electricity poles. Notice how they aren't connected, yet the street still has power! Amazing technlogy coming to a town near you.

Another Blog
I showed Cindy the mobile phone blogging tonight, she was so excited, she wanted to try it on her phone too. Now that she's set up , expect to see an occasional post from her. There's a link further down the page to her site.
Mobile Blogging
I just got this new mobile which has inbuilt blogging. So when I'm bored I can post something straight to the net, something that is pretty cool. Snapping a picture and instantly share it with the rest of the world. Well if anyone is watching, hope you find this more interesting than paint drying.
